Gala Honorees
We are thrilled to have Paul and Cindy Fegan join us as guests of honor at our Annual Gala. They established the Navis Charitable Foundation along with Paul’s business partner David Price in 2022, two years after The Fegan’s fought a firsthand battle against pediatric cancer. When their daughter, Alessia, was diagnosed with Wilms Tumor just before her third birthday, Paul and Cindy had to navigate inconceivable challenges - watching Alessia go through 20 weeks of chemo, fielding unanswerable questions like “why did this happen to me?” - all the while, maintaining that sense of strength and optimism required for survival. Their story is not only one of courage and resilience. Paul and Cindy exemplify the importance of keeping an open heart in the face of adversity in order to make positive change in the world. This year, the Navis Charitable Foundation made a generous donation to Pediatric Cancer Foundation from their 2nd Annual Drive the Dream of Hope Golf Outing. Today, thankfully, Alessia is a healthy six year old with a bold personality. We can think of no greater cause for celebration, and no greater reason to continue working toward the eradication of childhood cancer.
