Anyone who knows me knows I'm just a little bit animal crazy. From rescuing our first cat en route to taking Tommy to the hospital for an emergency appendectomy (priorities, am I right?) to welcoming three more cats and two dogs into the fold, and fostering dozens of kittens along the way, rescue animals have wagged & biscuit-ed their way into my heart and our house. I'm constantly covered in fur and full of tales (like how my dog proudly displayed a half-digested squirrel on our beautiful hall rug), but I wouldn't have it any other way. Except maybe without the half-digested squirrel.

I'm proud to be a part of the work the Humane Society of Charlotte is doing in building a world where there are no more homeless and unwanted animals, and invite you to help me raise money to care for more pets and their people in our community!
