I am raising money for the Humane Society of Charlotte during their annual fundraising campaign, Pet Palooza! 

As many of you know, I have a deep love and compassion for animals. I started volunteering at Humane Society of Charlotte in December 2021, and it truly has been one of the most rewarding and touching experiences of my life! Humane Society of Charlotte (HSC) is an amazing non-profit organization that does SO much for the animals and the people that love them in our community.

HSC is a private charitable organization, therefore does not receive funding from a national animal welfare organization, or receive any local, state, or national government support. They rely heavily on donations to keep their doors open to animals in need. When they take in an abused, homeless, unwanted, or neglected animal, that animal needs so much more than simply food, shelter, and a warm bed. They need love so they can learn to trust again. Many animals need specialized veterinary care, and when they have special needs, they need extra attention and care as they wait for the right adopter to come along and give them a forever home. In 2022, HSC placed 3,155 dogs and cats in new loving homes as well as provided a variety of animal welfare and outreach programs to help keep animals in their current loving homes.
