What is Pet Palooza?

Join us for Pet Palooza 2025 – a day of fun, community, and celebration at Truist Field! 

WHAT IS PET PALOOZA:  For over 25 years, Pet Palooza has been a beloved tradition in the Charlotte community. This annual fundraising walk and community festival unites people and pets for a day filled with joy. Enjoy music, food, event photobooth, a variety of vendors, and activities perfect for the whole family. The event embodies the mission and spirit of the Humane Society of Charlotte. Planning to join the walk? This year, the walk route will take participants around a city block in Uptown Charlotte—be sure to register in advance! 

WHEN: April 12, 2025 

WALK: 10:00am-11:00am 
VENDOR FESTIVAL: 11:00am – 3:00pm

ENTRY: $10 walker registration fee ahead of the event OR $10 entry fee into the venue. Children 10 & under will receive free entry (use code kids2025 if your kiddo would like to fundraise online ahead of the event)

About the Walk

Join us for the Pet Palooza Fundraising Walk, kicking off at 10:00 AM on April 12! Walk as a Solo Snout, start a Paw Squad, or simply donate to support this incredible cause. This year, we aim to raise over $140,000 to help people and pets in our community—and we can’t do it without you.

Pet Palooza benefits thousands of homeless animals each year by raising essential funds to provide medical care, food, housing, and enrichment for the animals at the Humane Society of Charlotte. If you need some fundraising inspiration, click here to view our fundrasing guide. 

All registrants who raise a minimum of $100 will receive a Pet Palooza t-shirt. T-shirts can be picked up the morning of the event. Register to walk with just a $10 donation to HSC—your $10 donation counts toward your $100 fundraising goal.

Fundraise as a Solo Snout or rally a group of friends or colleagues to join forces as a Paw Squad. The more you fundraise, the more prizes you win, and the more you can help the animals!

 

Solo Snout and Paw Squad Incentives

Walk

Individuals, whether registered as a Solo Snout or part of a Paw Squad, who raise at least $100 qualify for our Walk for the Animals t-shirt. This walk begins at 10:00 a.m. and is the perfect way to support animals while kicking off the event!

All animal lovers are invited to join us from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Truist Field for Charlotte's favorite family- and pet-friendly festival! The event is open to the public with a $10 donation to enter. Please note, if you’ve registered as a walk participant, you will not need to pay to enter.
