When Erma arrived at HSC through our partnership with the ASPCA, she was full of spirit and sweetness—but a small bump on her side raised concerns. Our veterinary team quickly diagnosed it as a soft tissue sarcoma, an aggressive form of skin cancer.
To give Erma the best chance at a healthy future, our medical team performed two surgeries to remove the mass and ensure clean margins. After weeks of recovery and care, she was officially cancer-free! With her health restored, Erma was finally ready to find a loving home.
It didn’t take long for the perfect family to fall in love with her. Now, Erma is living the happy, carefree life she deserves—all thanks to the lifesaving care made possible by donors like you.
