My amazing and loving wife Becca and I joined a team for PetsWALK 2025 with Kitsap Humane Society, and we are bringing along our two furry sidekicks, Maggie and Millie! That’s right—two dogs, one leash-tangled adventure. If you’d like to support a great cause, please consider making a donation!
Animal welfare has been a huge part of my life, and my journey with Kitsap Humane Society started as a dog-walking volunteer. Wanting to do more, I applied for a job and became a Life Saving Assistant, helping with animal care, adoptions, admissions, and even updating vaccines (yes, I’ve become that person who can wrangle a wiggly pup for a shot). Now, I’m proud to be part of the Development team as the Events and Outreach Assistant, working to support the shelter in new ways!
Kitsap Humane Society provides critical care, shelter, and second chances to thousands of animals each year—but we don’t stop there. We also help keep pets with their families through our low-income veterinary clinic, which offers affordable spay/neuter surgeries and lifesaving medical care. And for those struggling to afford pet food, our pet food pantry is a lifesaver (because no one should have to choose between feeding their pets or themselves).
