In Nov 2023, I lost my mother in law due to Pulmonary Fibrosis. It is a condition where lung tissues get "scarred", and the capacity of them to pull in oxygen significantly reduces. The problem is we still do not know the reasons behind this happening (just like cancer). And even though cancer can be cured in early stages, this has no cure.
