In 2007 Pulmonary Fibrosis changed our family FOREVER. We lost the ROCK to our family. Her name was Carmen Hernandez who we called NANA. My nana was a fighter. She faced this illness with the utmost bravery. Her courage and determination in battling Pulmonary Fibrosis will forever be a source of inspiration for me, and I will forever cherish the love she brought into my life. Even though she is no longer physically present, her spirit will always be alive in the memories we shared. May she rest in peace, knowing that she was dearly loved and will always hold a special place in our hearts. Together my family will walk in honor of our Beloved Nana. We walk for a cure.
