We invite you to join us at the Piedmont Pulmonary Fibrosis Walk—Striding for a Cure. This walk is open to everyone, and our hope is that it unites our community of patients, caregivers, and providers who are all impacted by chronic rare lung disease.

Pulmonary Fibrosis is a rare and complex lung disease that causes scarring in the lungs. There are numerous causes, and there is no cure. It can cause people to experience symptoms of shortness of breath, low oxygen levels, fatigue, and chest discomfort that can significantly impact their quality of life. The symptoms and burdens patients experience with pulmonary fibrosis are not dissimilar to those of other rare disorders.
This walk supports the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation's mission to accelerate research, advance improved care for those living with the disease, and provide unequaled support and education resources for patients, caregivers, family members, and healthcare providers.
