These photos take you through my journey with Pulmonary Fibrosis and my double lung transplant a little over a year ago on April 6,2024. During that time there are photos of so many memories that encouraged and supported me. Interspersed through the slides are photos of my friend and fellow Ambassador Melissa King. Ken and I are walking in support of Melissa who has been hospitalized for over 60 days awaiting compatible lungs. She is on ECMO She was diagnosed with IPF in 2014. In February of 2024 she had a bout of pneumonia which pushed her into chronic respiratory failure. Please keep Melissa in your prayers. Thank you.
