I am proud to be fundraising for the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation (PFF) as we walk in memory of my grandfather Jose Escoto at the Chicago PFF Walk September 20, 2025.
Pulmonary Fibrosis (PF) is a devastating condition that slowly robbed by granpa of his independence and quality of life. We started this team to honor his life and legacy - and because we know firsthand the pain and helplessness of watching a loved one suffer and hate to think thousands of more have to go through this illness with no hope for a cure. By raising critical funds, we hope to spare other families from the heartbreak we've endured. We miss my granpa dearly, and we walk in his memory to help drive progress and bring hope to others affected by this disease.
The PFF walk supports the Foundation's efforts to accelerate critical research, advance improved patient care, and provide vital support and education resources for patients, caregivers, family members, and healthcare providers. They offer hope — and we walk to help that hope grow stronger.
