Two years ago, our family lost an incredible man — Gil Oakley — to pulmonary fibrosis. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, and the kind of person who made every room brighter just by walking into it. Losing him to this disease was devastating, but honoring his memory by fighting for a cure is one way we keep his spirit alive.

I am proud to be fundraising for the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation (PFF) as we walk together toward a cure for pulmonary fibrosis (PF) at the PFF Walk 2025. Every step we take honors Gil, and every dollar raised helps the PFF accelerate research, improve care, and provide vital support for patients, caregivers, and families navigating this disease right now.

Pulmonary fibrosis is relentless, but so are we. Your gift, no matter the size, powers progress. It brings hope to families who are living this battle today and helps prevent other families from experiencing the same loss we did.
