This year, our family is walking with full hearts in the PFF Walk 2025, and I’m proud to be fundraising for the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation (PFF) — a cause that is deeply personal to us.
We walk in loving memory of our Dad - Ashwin, Aunt - Sudha, and Grandmother - Sarla whose lives were forever changed by Pulmonary Fibrosis (PF). Watching them face this disease was heartbreaking. PF is cruel — it slowly takes away the breath, and with it, so much of the life and freedom we often take for granted. Yet through it all, our father, aunt, and grandmother showed incredible strength, love, and resilience.
Losing them, or watching them struggle, has left a deep mark on our family — but also a deep desire to do something meaningful in their memory. We walk to keep their stories alive. We walk so that ours and other families don’t have to experience the same pain. And we walk because we still believe in a cure.
The Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation is working every day to accelerate research, improve care, and support patients and families living with PF. Your donation — no matter the size — truly makes a difference. It brings us one step closer to better treatments, earlier diagnoses, and ultimately, a cure.
