In 2024 Paul Savage was diagnosed with Interstitial Lung Disease at UCSF Pulmonology Clinic in San Francisco. He was living in Coronado, San Diego on his sailboat, Soiree when he started having lung disease symptoms. He was being treated by Dr. Angela Suen at UCSF Pulmonology Clinic in San Francisco. He was living with his niece, Angela, Jason, Vickie (sister in-law), Napoleon III (best dog ever). Unfortunately, Uncle Paul lost his battle with ILD on Saturday, June 28th in the Outer Richmond, San Francisco. We tried to save his life and find him a new lung but were unable to get him one. We applied to over 15+ lung tranplant hospitals. Cedar Sinai in Beverly Hills was the only hospital willing to accept him and take a chance on his life. After they did a pre lung tranplant evaluation in the hospital they found a heart blockage and were unable to proceed. We are heart broken! In honor of Uncle Paul we will be walking to support his fight and other struggling with lung disease. WE LOVE YOU UNCLE PAUL AND MISS YOU GREATLY! The Kramer's
