Thank you for your interest in serving as the Play4JA coordinator for your company! There are just a few steps to organizing a fun and successful fundraising event!
1. Start early!
2. Identify an activity that you and your coworkers, associates, or team would enjoy.
(The sky is the limit, and we encourage our partners to get creative! Ideas include corporate happy hours, creating a fundraising team for the 401K Race for Financial Fitness on May 4, office bake sales, Top Golf, Pickle Ball, axe throwing, Dine4JA restaurant/or cafeteria fundraisers, etc.)
3. Identify a date and time and chedule your event
4. Set a goal for the number of participants and the amount you'd like to raise.
5. Contact Steven Van Auken to set you up with your custom fundraising page.
7. Host an internal kick-off meeting or begin marketing the event internally.
8. Begin fundraising for Junior Achievment. Persistence is key, and as the leader of your Play4JA fundraiser, it will be your job to gently remind your coworkers to keep fundraising.
9. Have fun knowing you're making a huge impact for the future financial and career success of Kansas City's most at-risk students!
