This amount covers our rehearsal space and concert venues, music, instruments sectional coaches, and most importantly student scholarships, creating excellent orchestral education possible for all! Hello my name is Katie Schultz and I play in the Strings of the Minnesota Youth Symphonies (MYS). I have played violin for 4 years. My favorite part of MYS rehearsals is most likely the experience in general as well as all of the musical terms, how to play things, and learning to become a better player. MYS is important to me because I want to be able to improve my playing and MYS gives me that privilege.
