Artistic costs that directly affect my experience in MYS exceed $100,000 each year. This amount covers our rehearsal space and concert venues, music, instruments sectional coaches, and most importantly student scholarships, creating excellent orchestral education possible for all.

Hi! My name is Ingrid and I am a cellist in the Symphony Orchestra of the Minnesota Youth Symphonies (MYS). I have played cello for 6 years, and this is my 3rd year in MYS. My favorite part of MYS rehearsals is being challenged each week and learning the stories behind the music. MYS is important to me because otherwise I would not have the opportunity to play difficult music with such talented people.
