Artistic costs that directly affect my experience in MYS exceed $100,000 each year. This amount covers our rehearsal space and concert venues, music, instruments sectional coaches, and most importantly student scholarships, creating excellent orchestral education possible for all! Hello my name is Abigail Carey and I play in the 2nd violins of the Minnesota Youth Symphonies (MYS). I have played violin for 6 years. My favorite part of MYS rehearsals is playing the song as a group. MYS is important to me because I tried hard to get in and I have a good friend at MYS.
