On Sunday, March 2, 2025 our team will participate in Polar Plunge® Chicago for Special Olympics Illinois presented by Special Children's Charities, one of the city's most popular winter fundraising events! We are excited to take on the challenge and jump into Lake Michigan's chilly waters to support thousands of individuals with intellectual disabilities. Through your donations, people with intellectual disabilities can discover new strengths, abilities, and accomplishments.

Welcome to Max's Minyans! When a child reaches the age of Bar Mitzvah, they can officially be counted towards making a Minyan, which is a group of 10 people that acts as a quorum for certain life events and prayers that require a sense of community. Max's teammates are his community, and they are all helping him fulfill his Mitzvah Project to give back to the greater Chicago community by jumping in the freezing lake to benefit Special Children's Charities, Special Olympics, and athletes with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Illinois. Let's see how many minyans we can get - we're up to 4 (40÷10) already!
