For the first time ever, Northwestern University Swim Club is participating in Polar Plunge® Chicago for Special Olympics Illinois presented by Special Children's Charities. As the older sister to a teenager who has an intellectual disability, I am especially excited to use my position as Swim Club's President to support this valuable cause. Fundraising for Special Olympics provides opportunities for thousands of individuals with intellectual disabilities to discover new strengths, abilities, and accomplishments.
