Our Story

On Sunday, March 2, 2025 our team will participate in Polar Plunge® Chicago for Special Olympics Illinois presented by Special Children's Charities, one of the city's most popular winter fundraising events! We are excited to take on the challenge and jump into Lake Michigan's chilly waters to support thousands of individuals with intellectual disabilities. Through your donations, people with intellectual disabilities can discover new strengths, abilities, and accomplishments.

There are three easy ways to support our plunging efforts:

  1. Donate to our team fundraising page!
  2. Join our team and take the plunge with us at North Avenue Beach on March 2, 2025.
  3. Help us spread the word! Share my fundraising page with your friends and family.
