My Story
As many of you know, I suddenly developed preeclampsia with severe features and HELLP syndrome at 28 weeks pregnant. My organs were failing, and the only way to save my life was delivery. I had to deliver Jaxon at 28+4 weeks pregnant. During my c-section, I had a placental abruption, and Jaxon died on December 9, 2020.
Jaxon was my first pregnancy. He was born weighing 1 pound and 8 ounces. He was the most perfect little boy with hair and eyes just like his father and a nose and chin just like his me.
My goal is to not only raise money for preeclampsia research, but also to create more awareness of preeclampsia. I hope in the future no moms have to suffer the way I am suffering from the loss of my son due to preeclampsia and HELLP syndrome.
