PMI Piedmont Triad NC Chapter Virtual Food Drive

About Our Virtual Food Drive:

PMI NC Piedmont Triad Chapter is hosting a virtual food drive to benefit Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest NC  for their continued commitment to the needy in our community. Second Harvest provided and continue to provide extraordinary assistance during the COVID-19 Pandemic and through this virtual food drive we can assist them with a great cause!

About Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest NC:

Join us in #feedingcommunity as we work to ensure everyone has access to safe, nutritious food in the midst of COVID-19.

The coronavirus has closed schools and most community centers, creating a gap in meals for children. Seniors, people with chronic conditions, and those with compromised immune systems face higher risks in public spaces — forcing many to remain at home. Working families who can barely make ends meet now simply cannot absorb any added expenses for childcare and are the most likely to be affected should concerns over layoffs become reality.

The Second Harvest Food Bank network is ready to meet these evolving needs head-on, shifting our food sourcing and distribution to keep as much nutritious food flowing as possible across our 18-county service area. Please consider supporting our efforts. WE NEED YOU!

Virtual Food Drive Policy

Every day, Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest NC helps local families in need of food assistance working with 460+ on-the-ground partner programs serving 18 Northwest North Carolina counties. Each time you participate in a Virtual Food Drive, you entrust Second Harvest to direct your gifts to where they are needed most. This includes, but it not limited to, the purchase of food items needed by our partner network members, such as, but not limited to, the representative items on this website.
