I was a camper at Camp Fitch for six years, from age nine to foreteen.  I lived in both a tough and sheltered place at that age.  Camp offered me a place suportive, diverse, and free from judgement.  I ran, swam, sailed, and water skied with kids that were not like me.  Since everyone was different, no one hated me for not fitting into the mold, for not playing baseball, for not being in the right youth group, for not living on the right block.  Especially no one could put me down for spending a lot of time in the woods when everyone else was living with me in the woods for weeks at a time.  It was my happy place.  I want so much to be able to give that gift to kids that cannot afford it.  So they can become freinds with kids from other towns, other states, and even other countries. 

Please help me support the Fitch for All Initiative -- because I believe in the power of overnight camp first-hand and want more kids to have it.
