Please help me support the Fitch for All Initiative -- because I believe in the power of overnight camp first-hand and want more kids to have it.
Camp Fitch provided me with a ton as a child. I have spent countless days learning at and enjoying camp and all it offers. I learned how to shoot bows and rifles, camp, paddleboard, ride a horse, and many other activities available to campers. As an introvert, camp taught me how to socialize and make friends. The LIT and CIT program taught me how to be a leader. And I was taught how to work on my photography, graphic design, and videography through the tech focus program. Finally, I was provided a place that was welcoming to anyone and everyone, I made lifelong friends from all over the globe, and it formed me into the person I am today.
I've worked two full summers at camp, and my love for it has grown exponentially. As a summer camp counselor and as the Schooner Fleet Captain, I've seen firsthand how much a week at camp can mean to a kid. I want more and more kids to have that experience.
I'm participating in this fundraiser because I want to help the folks who wouldn't normally be able to experience camp enjoy the life-changing experience of Camp Fitch's summer camp.
