On Sunday, March 2, 2025 I will participate in Polar Plunge® Chicago for Special Olympics Illinois presented by Special Children's Charities, one of the city's most popular winter fundraising events! I am excited to take on the challenge and jump into Lake Michigan's chilly waters to support thousands of individuals with intellectual disabilities. With your support, people with intellectual disabilities have the opportunity to discover new strengths, abilities, and accomplishments.
If I reach $250, I will jump in the 34 degree water and submerge myself.
If I reach $500, I will stay in the water for 30 seconds;
If I reach $1,000, I stay in the water 1 minute
If I reach $2,500, I stay in the water 2.5 minutes
If I reach $5,000, I will stay in the water 3.5 minutes
And if I reach $7,500 or more in donations, I will stay in the water 5 minutes!
