On Sunday, March 2, 2025, I’m Taking the Ultimate "Ice Bucket Challenge"—But Bigger!
As a special education teacher in training, this cause is close to my heart. I’ve seen firsthand the incredible impact Special Olympics has on individuals with intellectual disabilities—including members of my own family who proudly participate in these life-changing events. That’s why I’ll be braving the icy waters of Lake Michigan during the Polar Plunge® Chicago for Special Olympics Illinois, presented by Special Children's Charities. It’s one of the coolest (literally) winter fundraising events in the city, and I couldn’t be more thrilled—or mildly terrified—to take the plunge for this amazing cause!
