On Sunday, March 2, 2025 I will participate in Polar Plunge® Chicago for Special Olympics Illinois presented by Special Children's Charities. I am excited to take on the challenge and jump into Lake Michigan's chilly waters to support thousands of individuals with intellectual disabilities. Being a special educator myself, this particular cause holds a deep meaning within my life. Working with and advocating for individuals with severe cognitive, intellectual, developmental or behavioral disabilities is something that I have come to dedicate my life to.
