On Sunday, March 2, 2025, I will take the plunge into Lake Michigan for Polar Plunge® Chicago to support Special Olympics Illinois, presented by Special Children's Charities—an event that holds a special place in my heart!
As a special education teacher at Edison Park Elementary, I see firsthand the importance of inclusion, support, and opportunities for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Special Olympics provides life-changing experiences, and I am honored to raise funds to help athletes discover their strengths, build confidence, and achieve incredible milestones.
I've been participating in the Polar Plunge since grade school, and every year, I look forward to embracing the icy waters for a cause that means so much to me. With your support, we can continue to create opportunities for these amazing individuals to thrive.
