On Sunday, March 2, 2025 I will participate for a third year in Polar Plunge® Chicago for Special Olympics Illinois presented by Special Children's Charities, one of the city's most popular winter fundraising events! I am excited to take on the challenge and jump into Lake Michigan's chilly waters to support thousands of individuals with intellectual disabilities. I have specifically witnessed our Corkery School's 6th-8th and 3rd-5th grades Cluster students participate in many of the events. They have enjoyed participating in all of the sports and ski trips. I do this for them because I see their potential and love to witness their self discovery of courage. Without this fundraising, I don't think they would have these opportunities. With your support, people with intellectual disabilities have the opportunity to discover new strengths, abilities, and accomplishments. Please help me reach my goal of $300.
