On Sunday, March 2nd, the Pinky Pals team will be participating in the 2025 Chicago Polar Plunge!  

We skipped last year, but decided to throw caution to the wind again. And this year we doubled our numbers!

Diane, Erik, and Emma are coming down from Wisconsin to show the Illinois plungers how to handle the cold.
For the Illinois squad, Lydia, Charlie, and I are plunging. Wise and warm Lisa will be our cheerleader and towel holder. Her team name is the Drier Dyer.

Call us crazy, call us cold, but please consider donating if able. Any amount will be much appreciated. We are fund raising through the team page only, not our individual pages.

All funds raised will benefit the Special Olympics athletes, covering program costs such as transportation, sports equipment, team uniforms, and food. We are excited to take on the challenge and jump into Lake Michigan's chilly waters to support thousands of individuals with intellectual disabilities. Through your donations, people with intellectual disabilities can discover new strengths, abilities, and accomplishments.
