Junior Achievement’s mission is to empower young people to own their economic success. JA programs prepare young people to thrive in the 21st century workplace and global economy by inspiring a passion in free enterprise and entrepreneurship and instilling an understanding of personal financial literacy. JA’s vital business curriculum comes alive when volunteers lead students in grades K-12 through innovative and hands-on lesson plans. These volunteers serve as invaluable role models by mentoring students and linking the importance of education to future success.

Your gift allows JA to provide vital programs in financial literacy, workforce readiness, and entrepreneurship at no cost to students attending schools in South Florida. The cost to sponsor an elementary school class is $1,000, so if every bowler on your team raises $250 your team can provide a JA program to an entire class!

The Popular Bank Bowl-A-Thon is a great team building activity where funds raised provide financial literacy, workforce readiness, and entrepreneurship programs for over 40,000 low-income students in our local community.
