Porch Fest is a vibrant, community-driven music festival set to take place on Sunday, September 28, from 2 to 5 p.m. in the historic Oakdene neighborhood in Rome.
This event invites attendees to stroll through the area, enjoying live 20-minute performances by local bands stationed on the front porches of homes. The festival atmosphere will be enhanced by avariety of food trucks, ensuring a delightful experience for all ages.

Following the event, sponsors and after-party ticket holders can head to River Remedy Brewery for a Back Porch After-Party from 5 to 7 p.m. All proceeds will directly benefit The Bloom Closet in Rome.
Bloom Rome, a satellite location of Bloom Our Youth, opened it's doors in 2024. Bloom is a nationally recognized and fully accredited nonprofit with a mission to empower Georgia’s families and communities to transform the lives of children and families impacted by foster care. In addition to Bloom's foster care agency, Bloom also serves any foster child in care and foster family throughout the state of Georgia through our Foster Care Program, Bloom University Training Program, and The Bloom Closet. This past year, Bloom served over 7,800 foster children across 142 Georgia counties and provided them with free clothing and essentials worth $2.2 million.
Of those children, Bloom Rome served over 700 children through the first year of service out of our Restoration Rome location, giving away more than $129,000 of clothing and essential items. And not only that, but Bloom Rome offers safe, Bloom Foster Homes right here in the heart of Northwest Georgia so children do not have to be placed in unfamiliar communities.
