Joan's Swan Song!

My Last Event as Potter League Board Chair! It has been my pleasure and honor to serve as the Potter League Board President for the past two years. The Potter League is, as I love to say, “the happiest animal shelter ever.” The work done by staff and volunteers on behalf of the animals, and to do everything possible to place and keep animals with their families, is remarkable and inspiring. Over the past couple of years, the Potter League has extended its reach, now responsible for the only low cost Spay and Neuter in the state, working with an increasing number of community organizations, taking in animals locally, from around the state, from disaster areas, and from as far away as Qater, South Korea and Afghanistan — because every animal deserves a chance for a good home. As I step down as Board President after the Walk in October, I want to thank everyone for their support — and ask you to donate with me one more time. For the animals, Joan Johnson-Freese
