HSC focuses on keeping pets in homes as much as it does adoption and access to affordable spay/neuter. My team, the Community Programs Department, works with volunteers, maintains our Pet Food Bank and Community Cat Food Bank, builds fences to transition dogs from being chained to a more flexible lifestyle, addresses community cat issues for our county, performs TNR (trap, neuter, return for community cats), and so much more.
