I am walking again in the 2K Pet Palooza Walk for the Animals benefiting the Humane Society of Charlotte. I am walking to support our Community Outreach Programs - specifically our iBuild fence building program.

Last year, thanks to the generous support of friends and family I was able to raise more than $500 in just a week. Your support inspired me to aim higher this year. I have set my goal at $1000. That is not only enough to buy the construction materials needed to build a fence, but also will provide support for the program throughout the year. 

After the fence is put up, HSC continues to support the family with straw in winter, tarp in summer, repairs, tool replacement, along with other costs as needed. As just one example, in the last year we have replaced dog houses for over 40 dogs in the program. 

By making a donation to my walk page, you will help The Humane Society of Charlotte care for homeless pets, and prevent some pets from becoming homesless in the first place by empowering their famillies with resources to keep them in their homes. Pets become members of our families - and everyone has the right to enjoy the unconditional love a dog or a cat can provide.
