Each one of us have been affected by cancer in one way or another. 

When I reflected on this statement, it was eye opening to realize how many people close to me have been affected by this disease.   From my friends, co-workers, aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents and parents, cancer has shown that is agressive, relentless and random.   Those that have battled or are currrently batting this disease can not do it alone.  And that is why I have decided to join the 9th Annual Purple Plunge.  Chances of me developing the cure are low, but I can jump in freezing water to raise money to help those who can and provide resources for those that need help in battle.
