MoveIn Founder and Director Nigel Paul and wife Jessie are raising $25,000 CAD to forward the global vision of MoveIn. They are excited to allocate funds to help support all of this year's PJ projects as well as other initiatives of the MoveIn Vision Team. Any donation that does not have a specific project designation will be considered a “where needed most” donation and will go towards Nigel and Jessie’s goal.
The Fischhoffs are headed out to the East Coast, visiting teams, partners, and key people in cities like Ottawa, Montreal, Fredericton, and Halifax. Help support this Vision Trip as we plant seeds for MoveIn across the Eastern coast of our beautiful nation.
MoveIners are uniquely positioned to minister to some of the least reached in their cities. We desire to train those in our movement in how to effectively and compassionately share the good news and disciple their neighbours. Let’s take hold of this opportunity by providing our 80 teams with powerful resources that will allow them to advance the gospel through their ministry. The funds from this project will go towards conference subsidies, training seminars, and literature.
What does mobilizing a regular believer look like in other cultural contexts? How do we promote MoveIn's Vision to those whose first language is not English? This project will start to address these questions from two fronts. First, by preparing materials that can explain the vision simply and clearly around cultural barriers. Second, by sending a team on a trip to test these materials outside Canada and observe the results.
The amount of Christ followers in Japan is less than 1%, making it one of the most unreached countries in the world. While it is economically prosperous overall, there remains certain areas that are plagued by poverty. Funding for this project will go towards Tolani & Calvin's Vision Trip for further research into target neighborhoods and partnership development in Japan.
This project will help equip us to take the vision of MoveIn to Latin America. The funds will go towards hosting events and promotional materials. Mobilization efforts will include a trip to a conference in Chile, and visiting local churches in Mexico and various countries across South America.
MoveIners are givers. They have moved into their neighbourhoods because they want to pray and make disciples. There will always be costs to this emotionally, physically, and spiritually. Martha and her team seek to encourage current MoveIners so they can be healthy in these areas and, ultimately, stay in their neighbourhoods. Funds will go towards pest control, gifts, opportunities for retreat, personal visits and more. Help us help over 350 MoveIners in ways we've never been able to!
Sam and Brad need your help to plant seeds in new cities, in faith that God will raise up MoveIn teams from the local Church. Funding for this project will be used to conduct research, lead Vision Trips, and initiate strategic relationships in new regions this year, including: USA, Africa, Australia, Latin America, and South Asia.
We want to learn more about what "moving in" amongst the unreached, urban poor looks like in N Africa. Join us in growing our vision for how to be present in difficult places and support what God is already doing.
This project will help MoveIn Vision Team staff who are under supported. We consider all of our staff to be amazing and in the support raising model some staff are better supported than others. We are excited for this project to give a boost to those who need it.
