As a child for me being able to ride a bike gave me a sense of freedom to ride to my friends house, the store to buy candy, get ice cream with my friends at the beach during the summer, and just go off road to explore new places. Even now as an adult, one my of my favorite family outdoor activities is taking bike rides in the evenings with my children. They love it! Soon when they will be old enough to experience that same freedom and fun that I did.
Unfortunately for some children, they will never get to experience to what it's like to learn to ride a bike or have these similar freedoms because their families cannot afford they a set a wheels.
This is why I am pledging to raise money for this cause to give children in our community a real opportunity to experience freedom while providing them a fun and safe physical activity outdoors.
