Thanks for visiting our team page!  We’d love for you to join our team as a Walker and/or help us reach our fundraising goal by contributing to this organization that means a lot to us.  Our Sweet Sophia was born at 29 weeks with one additional extraordinary chromosome.  She has set the world on fire from the day she was born.  Today she is a strong, determined, kind, loving, opinionated, and captivating 2 1/2 year old.  We can't imagine our lives without her. 

The Down Syndrome Community of Puget Sound’s mission is to provide impactful programs and resources for individuals with Down syndrome and their families while evolving perceptions in the broader community.   We use these programs regularly and have been a huge support in our lives.  Funds raised at the Puget Sound Buddy Walk allow them to continue to offer their many programs, events, and initiatives, and to add more to meet the needs of their members. 

Please help us raise awareness by donating, joining us on October 6 at the walk, thinking about us, or sharing our story.
