The Puget Sound Buddy Walk® is the Down Syndrome Community of Puget Sound's largest fundraiser of the year. I have been on the DSC Board of Directors since 2016. The success of the Buddy Walk allows us to continue our many programs, events, and initiatives, and to add more! 

• First Call Outreach Program which provides up-to-date information, mentorship and support to new parents as well as outreach to the medical community on best practices for delivering a diagnosis 
• Community groups including DSC Friends groups, Moms' Night Out, and DADS of Puget Sound
• Community events like the Puget Sound Buddy Walk, Sweetheart Dance, Holiday Party, Talent Show, and Megarama Day
• Education including the Learning Program, Understanding Adolescence and Puberty Program, and Ready, Set, Kindergarten, as well as special guest speakers
• Advocacy which provides information and opportunities related to policies and issues affecting our community
