Dear Friends & Family, I am so honored to participate in another PTATC. As the tournament approaches I have been thinking more and more about the subtle messages the tournament conveys and I hope that I can articulate what this tradition means to me. For many children diagnosed with cancer, athletics are not an option. Competing in Pine Tree makes me truly appreciative of the fact that I was able to play the sport I love throughout my childhood and now into my adulthood. The money raised at PTATC goes directly to the Children's Hospitals and Clinics of Minneapolis, where many children afflicted by cancer are struggling to live their normal and healthy childhoods. Every year, we get closer and closer to helping those children who desperately miss the hobbies they love. Together, we can make a difference and help these children return to the most precious time of their lives. Please consider making a donation to the PTATC, and, if you're looking for some fun the weekend of August 7-9th, come out to the White Bear lake Lifetime Fitness for some amazing tennis, food, and camaraderie. I hope to see you there! Thank you :)
