Fundraiser for Children's Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota
Could there be a more perfect fundraising event for me? The Pine Tree Apple Tennis Classic combines two of my favorite things – My love for kids and my love for tennis!
The Pine Tree Apple Tennis Classic is a fundraising event for children's cancer research at the Children's Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota. I am excited to play in the Masters division of this tournament with my partner, Dan Josephson, to benefit such a worthy cause.
As a participant, I am contributing to the efforts to help raise money for children’s cancer research. My goal of $500 can be achieved with your help. I hope you will consider making a small donation to help benefit thousands of children who are suffering with childhood cancer.
Here are the details you need to know:
The Pine Tree tradition
Ron and Maryanne Peterson created the Pine Tree Apple Tennis Classic (PTATC) in 1986 when their 12 year old daughter Julianne was diagnosed with Leukemia. 30 years later, the PTATC now hosts more than 110 of the area’s top men and women tennis players and has raised over $4.5 million for children’s cancer research. Your donation will help kids like these - See their stories.
