Receiving might be fun, but it is truly joyful to give back.
Having a disease is never fun; struggling with cancer is a true battle. Unfortunately, cancer does not differentiate between people. Though age does affect cancer rates, there are many kids that are struggling with cancer now and, if we don't do anything, will struggle in the future. I can only hope that my children will never have to deal with this intimidating disease, yet, there is no such thing as "cancer insurance."
Though there is no 100% effective cancer cure yet, the cancer research program at Children's Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota is doing a tremendous job in finding new ways to help children with cancer and their families. On August 6th - 9th , many great tennis players will compete at the Pine Tree Apple tennis tournament to raise funds for this cancer research program. I am grateful to be one of these players and have an opportunity to contribute to this great cause. You have this opportunity too! Please join our fight for a cure by sponsoring me (or any other player) in this year's event. Any amount you can contribute can make a difference for those in need.
