Hi! My name is Maile Farden, and I’ve been playing water polo for the past five years. It’s more than just a sport to me: it's my passion. This year, I was honored to be selected for the All-Star Future National Team, a group of athletes chosen to represent the future of USA Water Polo. From August 5–13, we will travel to Serbia to train and compete internationally against some of the world’s top youth national teams. This is not only an incredible opportunity to grow as an athlete, but also a once-in-a-lifetime cultural and competitive experience. I’ve been a part of the Olympic Development Program since I was in the Development Division, working hard every step of the way to reach this level. Playing internationally has been a lifelong dream, and I’m beyond excited to see it finally come true. However, I can’t do this alone. Every athlete is responsible to raise $4,750 to support the team, and I’m reaching out to my friends, family, and community to help make this dream a reality.
