Purple Plunge is a local non-profit cancer charity dedicated to making an impact in our community by plunging into icy cold Lake Zurich and raising funds to increase awareness and provide aid and support to cancer survivors, their families, and caregivers in our community. Purple Plunge understands the financial pressures that come with a cancer diagnosis. Whether it's covering gas money, arranging house cleaning, taking time for yourself, or getting help with utilities, they are there to ease your burden. Each one of us have been affected by cancer in one way or another. Whether it is you who has battled or is battling cancer, or that of a dear family member or close friend or even a charished pet. We may not be able to stop the disease at this point but we can try to help those with this awful disease. This is why I have decided to join the 11th Annual Purple Plunge.
