I was diagonsed with stage 4 Thyroid Cancer in 2007.  Fortunately this is one of the more treatable cancers.  It still required the full removal of my Thyroid, multiple lymph nodes and two rounds of radioactive iodine treatment.   This year my doctors at Mayo decided I no longer needed to be seen every three years as reoccurance was now remote so just a annual blood test and taking a purple pill everyday for the rest of my life.  I was a lucky one. Please help me raise money for those that are going through this currently.   Purple Plunge is a wonderful charity run by wonderful people.
