On November 8th, our team will be dancing to raise money for JA of New York, specifically PS 277 in Brooklyn. As a team, we are trying to reach a goal of $1,750, which would provide enough funding for JA programming for nearly 2 classrooms.

Last year, Junior Achievement of New York provided real-life skills from financial literacy to decision-making to over 90,000 students in the NYC metro area. This year, the goal is 100,000 students for JA's 100 year anniversary.

A little info about PS 277 - 52% of the students come from lower-income families on a free or reduced lunch, and 21% of students struggle with a disability.
