We are Raising Money for The Covert Avenue School in Elmont
Every $50 we raise will enable one student at The Covert School to receive JA programming, every $1000 we raise will enable one class at The Covert Avenue School to receive JA programming. From personal finance to entrepreneurship, JA programs give kids the chance to develop the skills they need to become confident, savvy leaders in the real world.
The Covert Avenue School serves more than 525 students in grades K-6. It has a warm and supportive tone.
PwC volunteers have been visiting The Covert Avenue School every year since 2013! They participate in many JA programs like JA Day's, BizEd, Mobile Finance Park and High School Heroes. Their school coordinator for JA Programming, Rob Mugno, was our Long Island Educator of the Year last year.
The school offers a mix of English Speaking Language, Special Education and Inclusion classes.
