Thank you for visiting my 2020 Promise Walk for Preeclampsia fundraising page. My wife suffered what is known as postpartum preeclampsia after the birth of our child, Cadence. She was in and out of the hospital and suffered near fatal conditions. It was a fearful time for her in a season that should have been filled with joy. I, too, experienced my share of fear and worry as there seemed to be nothing I could do to help her or the issue. Being on the other side of it now, my wife made a decision to partner with Promise Walk to bring an awareness about preeclampsia to the city of Houston. I'm so proud of her but more importantly I'm so excited to be getting this information out to the public so that we can better diagnose and treat preeclampsia.
